RULES

BE ACTIVE

once you're accepted, you have three days to make an opening post. your opening post does not have to be your character's arrival, but they must introduce themselves through an action or network post.

activity checks are held monthly. click the link for more information. failure to check in will result in consideration for removal from the game. please also note that if there are legitimate concerns brought to the moderators about someone's activity, those characters will be closely examined.

NO GODMODDING

this one should go without saying, but you cannot control another player's actions without their permission. do you play a character who is capable of controlling thoughts and actions? you'll need a permissions post, and it's your responsibility to make sure everyone fills it out.

STAY IN CHARACTER

characters develop, obviously, especially as they experience new things, but make sure their developments make sense and don't come from nowhere. also keep in mind the boundaries of their canon personality.

RESPECT EACH OTHER

discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. if you have an OOC problem with another player, please try to handle it in a mature way. if you feel your ways are not working, bring your issue to a mod, and they will try to help you. remember: IC fighting and OOC fighting are completely different things, make sure you can separate the two.

POST IN THE APPROPRIATE COMMUNITY

we've made separate communities for your varying needs. please use them! they are as follows:
whitechapelroad; the main community, for network and action bracket posts.
whitechapel_logs; the log community, for third person, prose logs.
whitechapelooc; the ooc community, for any out of character interaction.

please, no more than five characters, and none from the same canons.

multifandom means more than one canon will be present, so please, expand your horizons and do some cross-canon tagging! at this time, we will not be accepting original characters, but this is subject to change in the future.
